The way kids operate online scares me. I always feel like I can't catch up. I just saw a video of a two year old surfing youtube (<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pFZ9aP2jY48)" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pFZ9aP2jY48)</a> I still get lost in it! Wonder what the next generation will be like...

Did you just mistakenly call me an Outlier? (referencing Gladwell!)

What's interesting to me is not just the attributes of the Gen Net, but the fact they're now starting to achieve positions of responsibility in companies and on projects which give them ever-growing influence.

Also the geographic influence of the 'flattening world' with Gen Net combining education in India, for example, or China.

True. Any grouping by age is certain to have outliers. But a good starting point....

Definitely a book on my reading list, but I think it's always good to point out that these attributes are limited to those 11-30 - that's just where the majority of these things have come together.
Either that, or I'm just bitted that the cut-off point rules me out of the cool Gen Net by 1 year...!
